How To Change Chart of Accounts - Default Account Error Handling In Coupa

Please see how to check the following error message in Coupa when submitting expenses or requisitions.



How and where can you check?


1. Expenses


Select Account - Magnifying glass and the Choose an Account will pop up. Please review the fields, especially the Chart of Accounts (COA).


Please note, if you are in the Product or Technology department you will need to add your Product Team/Pillar Group.




2. Requisitions/POs


Under the Billing section - The magnifying glass and the Choose an Account will pop up. Please review the fields, especially the Chart of Accounts (COA).


Please note, that if you are in the Product or Technology department you will need to add your Pillar Group (known as Product Team in Coupa).

You can check in your Workday profile:

Profile → Job → Organisations → Product Team. Please see the highlighted hints below:
